The Contra Costa Family Justice Center seeks to create a community that is there to support the healing process for those who are affected by any form of family violence and human trafficking. With our commitment towards healing, community, and safety, we strive to integrate capable partners with common goals to create a comprehensive service network to alleviate or prevent future instances of family violence.

STAND! For Families Free of Violence is committed to promoting safe and strong families. Our approach to eliminating family violence is well-rounded and community-wide. In addition to providing a complete spectrum of prevention, intervention, and treatment programs, we also enlist the efforts of local residents, partners, and institutions, all of whom are striving with us to stop domestic violence and child abuse.
The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (the Partnership) is California’s recognized domestic violence coalition, representing over 2,000 survivors, advocates, organizations and allied individuals across the state. Working at the local, state, and national levels for nearly 40 years, the Partnership has a long track record of representing the needs of domestic violence survivors and their children to advance legislative and systems change.
Shepherd’s Gate helps women and children escape abuse, addiction, sex trafficking, and homelessness. We are so much more than a shelter. Shepards gate provide , women and children safe shelter, meals, and a long-term 12-16 month Christ-centered residential program that helps in every area of their lives: physical, spiritual, emotional, parenting, education & career, legal, financial, family reunification, etc. Plus we have a full program for children so they too can find healing and thrive in life. We are one of the few programs for older children.
